On the morning of nov 11, the first long tunnel of the beijing-zhangjiakou high-speed railway, the traffic supporting project of chongli stadium for the 2022 Beijing winter Olympic Games, was successfully completed in zhengpantai tunnel of chongli railway with a total length of 12.974 km. Passengers will be able to cross the nearly 13-kilometer tunnel in just three minutes when the 2022 winter Olympics begin in Beijing.
The beijing-zhangjiakou high-speed railway starts from Beijing north railway station, passes through shacheng, xiayuan and xuanhua, and reaches zhangjiakou, hebei. The line is about 174 kilometers long. After the completion of the railway, the time from zhangjiakou to Beijing by bullet train will be reduced to one hour. The project started construction on April 29, 2016 and is expected to be completed and open to traffic by the end of 2019.
There are 10 stations on the main line, including Beijing north railway station, qinghe railway station, shahe railway station (no passenger transport is available), changping railway station, badaling railway station, donghuayuan north railway station (reserved), huailai railway station, xiayuan north railway station, xuanhua north railway station and zhangjiakou south railway station. Among them, huailai station, xiayuan north station and xuanhua north station are newly built stations, and the rest are rebuilt stations, among which north Beijing, qinghe and south zhangjiakou are the starting stations.
The reporter learned from the China railway tunnel bureau group that the newly built chongli railway is a traffic supporting project for chongli stadium of Beijing 2022 winter Olympic Games, and also an important trunk railway of beijing-zhangjiakou high-speed railway and an important part of the beijing-tianjin-hebei intercity railway network. Located in zhangjiakou city, hebei province, the 12.974-km zhengpantai tunnel is a single-hole, double-track tunnel and the first long tunnel of beijing-zhangjiakou high-speed railway and chongli railway.
Since the commencement of the project in September 2016, in the face of complex tunnel geological conditions, builders have adopted additional measures such as branch tunnel, drainage tunnel and construction flat guide to realize the pattern of 'long tunnel and short tunnel' with holes in the tunnel, and implemented the supporting construction of full process mechanization. A total of 12 scientific research achievements have been achieved in the construction, including advanced geological prediction technology, mechanization supporting upgrading, multi-face ventilation technology and other fields.
It is understood that the overall track bed is scheduled to be completed by the end of April 2019. After the completion of construction, it will be delivered to the paving unit for rail laying. After the track-laying operation is completed, the entire four-power system will be delivered to the railway bureau for operation and construction, and then finally open to traffic.
